Spotted Salamander Tee

Share the amphibian love with this spotted salamander tee, illustrated and hand-carved by artist Rosalie Haizlett! Screenprinted in West Virginia by East West Printing Co. 

This shirt was inspired by an early spring adventure into the West Virginia woods to observe the nighttime mating rituals of spotted salamanders. For only a few nights each spring, hoards of these salamanders venture out into ditches and vernal pools to try to impress one another and find a mate. They even perform elaborate dances to get attention!

Shirt details: Printed on Comfort Colors 100% cotton, pre-shrunk t-shirts. Shirts are unisex and fit true to size. In several of the photos shown, I've cut off the bottom three inches for a more cropped look (super quick & easy!). Shirts arrive uncropped. This is a batch of 75 tees, and once they're gone they will not be reordered.
